The biggest mistake most people make is to think that they have time...

My job is to disabuse you of that notion.”

We often wait too long to start living a life of our own design.

A cancer diagnosis, the loss of a loved one, or major life change like divorce reminds us that life is too short to settle for less than our dreams demand.

We know that there is so much more for us.

The time is now.

I felt like a failure...

2010

I remember the conversation like it was yesterday.

My then- wife said that we "don't share anymore," and asked about my day.

"It was the same day I had yesterday, and probably will have again tomorrow," I said.

We were in a rut, allowing life to happen to us rather than making life happen for us.

A handful of years later, after two trial separations, we were divorced.

Today

I have so much gratitude for the crooked trail behind me and the possibilities that lie ahead.

Life has purpose because I am intentional- prioritizing family, adventure, and service to others.

My wife is not just a spouse and a mother, but a partner in travel, in type II fun, and in laughter, always.

I learned that becoming the best version of myself was not about me, but about how I can show up for others.

My "superpowers"

Perspective

It's hard to read the label from inside the bottle.

Having a viewpoint from the outside can be invaluable in identifying patterns, beliefs, and roadblocks.

Inspiration

Why settle for good enough or getting by? There is so much more out there!

You may not believe it, but I KNOW it- you're worth it.

Accountability

Small habits are the key to permanent change.

They are also boring.

As the author, James Clear notes, "An accountability partner can create an immediate cost to inaction."

I'm here to help keep you on track.

This has been an incredible experience. When [my wife] left, I spent 2 years just being spiteful. I've learned to move on as a better version of me.

I wish I'd met you 5 years earlier!

My ego was dented. I felt like 'I'm still here, he's moved on.' This work has helped me see my own storylines and to become better, not bitter.

There were so many things I didn't do while just trying to make the marriage work. I've learned to put myself first without feeling selfish or guilty.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does your coaching process look like?

We start with the Life Compass Assessment, which measures your current status in 8 key areas: Vital Self, Emotional Wealth, Authentic Connections, Collaborative Creation, Aligned Work and Growth, Courageous Expression, Adventure and Play, and Grounded Freedom. This, combined with your intake evaluation, will give us a starting point.

From there we dig into your core values, which help develop vision, and limiting beliefs, which help develop our strategy. As we build your vision, we start with small adventures to get you "knocking over dominoes," proving that progress is not just possible but inevitable.

As we continue crafting the vision, we also target specific skill or need areas to develop. Part of this might include finding mentors, completing homework that I assign, or taking on specific challenges within time-bound constraints.

Lastly, we plan to make the change we're creating sustainable, durable, and enjoyable (or else it won't stick!).

"Graduation" doesn't just mean that your sessions are over, but that you have demonstrated success reimagining AND executing your new vision.

What’s included in the program?

Unless specifically stated otherwise, 1:1 coaching consists of 10 x 50 minute sessions, either online or in person. Programs typically run for 12 weeks, allowing some flexibility in the schedule as well as time to process more involved homework.

All regular packages include 1 x weekly check-ins via the Telegram app.

Follow up sessions are scheduled 3 and 6 months after the completion of your program to ensure continued alignment and accountability.

12- week clients also receive early access to our VIP destination retreats.

How long will it take to complete my sessions?

Unless specifically stated, 1:1 coaching programs consist of 10 x 50 minute sessions over a 12 week period.

Special programs with varying time lengths and VIP retreats are offered several times per year.

What will I achieve by the end of the program?

When we begin, I'll ask you to choose 1 or 2 tangible, measurable goals to work toward. Every client has differing needs, but all graduate from the program with a clearer vision of their future, daily routines that align with that vision, and demonstrated success in accomplishing increasingly challenging goals.

Can we talk between sessions? How will we communicate?

1:1 Clients can message me once in between sessions via the Telegram app (set up during one of our initial sessions). VIP clients have unlimited access between sessions (within reason- I'm only human!).

How do I pay you?

I accept payments via credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer.

Is there a payment plan?

Yes. All programs can be paid in advance at a discount, or via a 3-6 month payment plan, depending upon the program.

Note: A payment plan is not a subscription. All payments must be made in full unless prior arrangements are made.

How do I schedule my sessions?

You can book directly through my online calendar, linked HERE.

Are all sessions online?

For out of town clients and group programs, yes.

For local clients, I love to meet face- to- face at least 3 times per program when possible. While I love my time with you virtually, there is no substitute for meeting in person!

I live in a different timezone. Can I still sign up?

Absolutely. My calendar will adjust for your time zone so that scheduling works for both of us.

What if i need to cancel or reschedule?

Life happens. You can cancel or reschedule an appointment with no charge up to 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours out will incur a 50% charge, to be paid before the end of your program.

Do you offer refunds?

I do not offer refunds on coaching programs. Coaching requires a commitment from us both. For that reason it is important that you are invested monetarily as well as emotionally and intellectually.

However, if you feel the program is not a good fit after the first session, please reach out, and we can discuss alternative options or adjustments to ensure you’re getting the support you need.

What happens when my program ends?

After completing the program, you’ll have a clear roadmap to continue applying the strategies we’ve discussed, and you’ll have continued access to all resources shared during the program. I offer ongoing support through follow-up sessions 3 and 6 months after your program ends.

For continued guidance, I offer "maintenance" sessions as desired.

About Allen...

I am a father, husband, coach, outdoor guide, educator, and middling endurance athlete who believes that small changes make a BIG difference.

I believe that when we identify the patterns in our lives, we are able to make changes to create the best versions of ourselves.

I know that divorce is devastating. I also know that we can come through on the other side not just as survivors, but as examples who can provide hope and inspiration for others.

I'd be honored to hear your story, and to help you write the next chapters.

Cheers,
